Non-acute care is offered through our affiliates including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services and the Home Care organizations.

Summary:
MEDICAL INSURANCE PAYMENT/REIMBURSEMENTS.
Maintain accurate and timely claim submission for accounts.
Insure all claims are compliant with state and federal billing regulations and contractual obligations.
Expedite inquires by mail or phone.
Insure accurate and timely application of cash received.
Process statements to insure an effective billing system.
Responsibilities:
Accurate, timely, and compliant claim submission Confirmation of electronic and hard-copy billing of delinquent claims, rebilling, and follow-up of all delinquent claims Respond to patient and payer inquiries, denials, correspondence, and telephone inquires Maintain all reports, contract management) files and records i.

, medical records, referrals, pre-certification letters, etc.
Adjust account balances to specific account needs i.

, capitated labs Maintain Contract Management reporting i.

, payment errors, carve out billings and update information as requested by supervisor Apply cash received to appropriate account and refund overpayments REQUIREMENTS/
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum of one year of data entry and customer service experience Preference given to applicants with billing and collections or medical office/healthcare experience and/or Associates or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, or Finance Location:
