UX/UI Designer Consultant - Hybrid
Our direct client, a fast-growing medical technology company based in Danbury, CT is seeking a talented and experienced UX/UI Designer consultant to assist them with greenfield business application(s) development effort. As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for their web and mobile (in the future) applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketers to translate user needs and business requirements into elegant design solutions.Working in the client s Danbury office a few times a month is required.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand user requirements and business objectives. Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and interactions effectively. Develop user personas, user flows, and journey maps to guide the design process. Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experiences across various devices and screen sizes. Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility of design implementations and to maintain design consistency throughout the development process. Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and data analysis. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. 5
of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices. Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Online portfolio showcasing previous design projects and process. Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines. Experience designing for enterprise software applications.
