Perform inspection on both electrical and mechanical assemblies/components at suppliers location. Witnessing of tests to assure compliance to specifications. Witnessing and inspecting various assembly operations to assure compliance. Generating reports on inspections performed. Provide Quality oversight when required.
Minimum two year AS degree in related field OR 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree in aerospace, quality or related field. 3 years experience performing similar function in the aerospace field. J-STD and NASA solder experience a plus. Excellent communication skills. Impeccable attention to detail. Able and willing to work overtime and weekends as required. Ability to travel on short notice. Ability to drive/travel regionally and nationally/internationally for source inspections. Candidate may be required to wear safety shoes, safety glasses and additional PPE as required. Candidate may be required to bend, stoop, etc.
