The Principle Mechanical Engineer is responsible for leading various technical project teams as well as completing projects independently. They are responsible for the planning, scheduling, testing and cost management of the projects they lead.


Responsibilities:

Work independently on engineering projects
Plan and lead teams for various technical projects
Develop system level architecture
Develop creative concepts through product design and manufacturing release
Meet project cost targets.
Collaborate with design teams and manufacturers
Improve mechanisms and create test plans


Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering
Min. 10-15 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
Experience in High Speed Paper, Plastic or Material Handling Machinery required
Proficient in Methods of Design Engineering and CAD required
Proficient in Mechatronics and Innovative Technology strongly preferred
Pro Engineer experience preferred
Knowledge of engineering & scientific disciplines
Knowledge of control systems
Familiar with manufacturing/fabrication processes
Strong design & analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
