Responsibilities
We are seeking a SENIOR MACHINIST to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidate will machine parts to print, sketches and verbal instructions. Must have ability to machine various materials including metals, specialty metals, plastics, etc. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Must have experience with geometric tolerancing. Candidate must be able to work in challenging, dynamic and demanding work environment. Will be required to wear appropriate PPE when in lab areas. Candidate must be willing and able to work overtime when required.
Qualifications
o High School or GED
o Minimum 15 years' experience in precision machining using Master cam and Millpower controllers for Bridgeport milling machines.
o Must be experienced in all areas of machining including grinding of parts as well as the ability to grind special tooling.
o Previous experience in the machining of in-process assembled parts a plus.
Education - High School or GED
Years of Experience - 15+
Industry Experience - Aerospace, knowledge of geometric tolerancing a must
Acceptable Job Titles - Machinist, CNC Machinist
Candidate must be a US Citizen and must either hold a current US DoD clearance or must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.
