CAR WASH ATTENDANT
ROLE DESCRIPTION

GENERAL SUMMARY
Car wash attendants wash, scrub and polish the exteriors of vehicles. They may also vacuum seats and carpets and clean door trims and hinges in the interior of vehicles.

REPORTS TO: SERVICE MANAGER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver Value for the Customer
Vacuum, clean and maintain vehicle interiors, including dashboards, consoles, carpet and car seats.
Clean door trims and hinges.
Wash and polish vehicle exteriors and tires
Assist with snow removal at Mill Plain Road.
Assist in picking up and delivering cars and other errands as needed.
Ensures that customer complaints are handled tactfully, promptly, with genuine concern, and according to the dealership's guidelines.
Creates an environment where customers are regularly apprised of the current situation.
Takes the initiative to exceed customer satisfaction, even if it requires overcoming obstacles.
Ensures that each and every customer encounter is consistent with the dealership Promise.
Understands that the customer service measurements used in the dealership network.
Identifies, recommends and supports opportunities for the methods/process improvement.
Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
Responsible for other duties as assigned and/or required by business need.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
The following qualities and attributes successfully characterize a professional Danbury Porsche- Audi- Volkswagen Service Lot Attendant:
Competence parking vehicles in tight spaces with both automatic and manual transmissions.
Neat appearance and willingness to assist with customers and other employees.
Aptitude for logical thinking and ability to prioritize many duties.
Valid Driver's license
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
