SERVICE LOT ATTENDANT
ROLE DESCRIPTION

GENERAL SUMMARY
The main purpose of the Service Lot Attendant is to maintain the service parking and used car display and see that they are organized, neat and clean. Assist customers to drop-off/pick up their cars at the dealership
REPORTS TO: SERVICE MANAGER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver Value for the Customer
Ensures that customers have 3 or 4 empty parking spaces available and that the lot and customer entrance is neat and clean at all times.
Immediately respond to calls for service customer and loaner cars, check for cleanliness, fuel level, and bring to customer in a timely fashion.
Greet and direct customers to the appropriate area of the dealership as needed.
Direct tow truck drivers to out of the way drop-off area and assist them in and out.
Check service lot for non-customer care. i.e. trade-ins, lease turn-ins, employee and company cars, new and used car stock.
Patrol lot daily for litter, sweep up lot as necessary.
Assist in picking up and delivering cars and other errands as needed.
Assist car wash crew as needed.
Ensures that customer complaints are handled tactfully, promptly, with genuine concern, and according to the dealership's guidelines.
Creates an environment where customers are regularly apprised of the current situation.
Takes the initiative to exceed customer satisfaction, even if it requires overcoming obstacles.
Ensures that each and every customer encounter is consistent with the Volkswagen Promise.
Understands that the customer service measurements used in the Volkswagen network.
Identifies, recommends and supports opportunities for the methods/process improvement.
Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
Meet Objectives
Stays in contact with service desk, keeps service desk informed as to whereabouts.
Minimize lot damage by carefully parking cars with adequate distance between spaces.
Prioritizes work to meet demands and customer needs.
Acts quickly to implement plans; organizes work effectively; follows up to ensure successful implementation.
Maintains safe working standards and abides by regulations set out by the Volkswagen dealership.


Responsible for other duties as assigned and/or required by business need.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
The following qualities and attributes successfully characterize a professional Danbury Porsche- Audi- Volkswagen Service Lot Attendant:
Competence parking vehicles in tight spaces with both automatic and manual transmissions.
Neat appearance and willingness to assist with customers and other employees.
Aptitude for logical thinking and ability to prioritize many duties.
Valid Driver's license
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
